Hayden Collins is a Jacksonville-based experimental 2D visual artist. Born and raised in Florida, she earned her BA in Digital Art from Stetson University (2024) and her MFA in Visual Fine Art at Jacksonville University (2026). She enjoys opportunities to blend her digital art practice with traditional studio art mediums to create multimedia works.
While in a University setting, she spent her time developing her skills and working as Creative Director for college campus publications The Reporter and Touchstone Literary Art Magazine. Her role leading design fostered a love for independent publishing and teaching visual design.
Currently her personal work explores using found artifacts and personal ephemera, and censorship implemented through intentional image degradation, both in the physical and the digital, operating in a visual space of pixelation, image grain, and noise.
